Lina Maxine releases sumptuous Sweeter version of power-pop anthem ‘Let Me’
Rapidly rising pop-rock starlet Lina Maxine is making her music heard in more ways than one, as we exclusively share the new video for ‘Let Me (Sweeter)’.
A freshly re-conditioned version of her insanely catchy power-pop single that came out back in February, she has spiced things up even more with this enticing acoustic offering.
Honing in on the songwriting prowess of Lina and her one of a kind production, ‘Let Me (Sweeter)’ is a brilliant arrangement of what was already a captivating single from Maxine, and this gives it a whole new lease of life to dive into.
The video is Lina dancing and swaying with the waves as she artfully reflects on the stripped back and nostalgic prog-rock balance she has so eloquently presented here.

Lina says “I wanted to strip back the production on “Let Me” to its core, to reveal the beautiful chords and guitar riffs that inspired me to write this song. I wanted to show the vulnerability and the strength in my voice.
The backing vocals, the way they intertwine and add to the haunting atmosphere in the song, is my favourite. Lifting the mask of the “red-haired femme fatale” I wanted to show you the real me.
I love to sing and dance, I love walking on the beach and I love wearing all black.”
