Northampton music icon Maddox Jones returns with new single ‘Somewhere There’s A Plan (Believe It)’
Bringing a whole new level of reassurance to fans, Maddox Jones’ powerful new single is a feel-good, future-retro pop song destined for the top slot of your playlist.
Titled ‘Somewhere There’s A Plan Believe It)’, the music legend is quick off the mark in the pop adventure and guides listeners through realms of synth-pop and funk.
Speaking about the message behind the vivid new release, Maddox tells us, “there’s some uncertainty with things opening up and whether the timing is right for that, maybe this song will bring comfort to someone who’s still waiting to re-engage with the world, that things might be hard right now but they will eventually be ok again.
The song also has a playful side, reminding us to find joy in the small things: “Let this melody from my head take you somewhere else instead”.
No stranger to the industry, Maddox was the former frontman of The Departure (Parlophone Records) and spent time touring with the likes of The Killers, Feeder and Placebo.
Taking his career down a mainstream-pop avenue, Maddox showcases his versatile songwriting within the new single.
Written and produced alongside David Crawford over the past year, ‘Somewhere There’s A Plan (Believe It)’ features good friends of Jones who brought a certain level of maturity to the track.
2021 is the year of Maddox Jones if this track is anything to go by.
