Returning with the indie-fuelled single ‘Strangers’, there’s no stopping Me and the Moon
Indie meets alt-pop connoisseurs Me and the Moon reveal their remarkable new single ‘Strangers‘.
Unveiled ahead of their headline show at The Brink in East London on September 17th, Me and the Moon’s new release is bathed in ethereal guitar melodies and folk undertones.
Produced and mixed by Patch Boshell & mastered by Pete Maher (The Rolling Stones, Patti Smith, U2), “Strangers” tells the tale of moving forward without someone in your life only for them to reappear once it’s too late
Speaking about the enchanting new release, the collective share, ““Strangers is written about someone you cared about coming back into your life but it feels too little too late,” explains the band.
“We spent a lot of the first lockdown working on our new sound and writing as much new material as we could after spending some time away from the city at The Dog Haus in The New Forest. We came home with the bones of Strangers as the lyrics and melody came together incredibly quickly and naturally.”
Already playing support slots for Marika Hackman, Lewis Watson and Flyte as well as performances locked in at this year’s BBC Radio 2 CarFest South and the Isle of Wight Festival, Me and the Moon are certainly making waves in the industry.
Flowing freely, the ear-worm melody within in ‘Strangers’ is breathtakingly original.
