Milo Gore share latest single ‘Green Eyes’ taken from their upcoming album ‘How Do You Cope While Grieving For The Living?’ due out 20th August

UK based indie-alternative outfit Milo Gore announce the self-release of their latest anthem ‘Green Eyes’. With a strong team behind it, the number was produced by Pete Prokopiw (Mumford & Sons, Florence & The Machine), mixed by engineer Andy Savours (Sigur Los, The Horrors, Arctic Monkeys) and mastered by engineer Guy Davie (Jamie T, The Streets, King Grule).

Describing their passion for music, the collective identify that music is part of their souls and simply in their blood. With the forthcoming album detailing the story of love, loss, drug addiction and Milo’s battle with mental health, the importance of personal acceptance is encouraged in the band’s music.

On the track, Milo Gore revealed more of it’s context; ‘Green Eyes’ is a tale of love and loss. It is a song about learning to dance on your own again. Learning to love yourself again, learning to be happy again, and ultimately content with being alone. It discusses the moment when the one you love has gone from your life, and you are forced into learning to love yourself, and the others around you, once again.”

Staying true to their roots with an indie alternative sound, the single embraces energy like no other indie anthem out at the moment. Using honesty while still comforting listeners, the track’s arrangement of glistening guitars and prominent melodies yearns for connection.

Armed with a memorable structure, the track’s sensitive but still has a strong head on it’s shoulders. All about self growth and development, Green Eyes sits close to home while in isolation. A gorgeous anthem that needs to be played loud.
