Single Ruin unveils fourth release to date ‘Careful Now’ and it tackles intimate stories of clashing relationships
“Careful Now” is perhaps Single Ruin’s strongest release to date. Tackling intimate stories of clashing relationships, this synth-heavy number uses glitching samples to convey its toxic story.
Written and produced by the Brighton based songwriter, the track is out worldwide tomorrow ahead of an upcoming EP titled ‘Unique’.
Even though Single Ruin hasn’t been a project for long, the songwriter landed himself tour support with Fickle Friends and even headlined Swedish festival Solbergfestivalen.
Despite the past year being hell on earth for the globe, Single Ruin turned the awful year into a positive by releasing powerful music with plenty of emotions.
Telling us more about the release, Single Ruin shares, “This song is about asking someone seemingly close to you if they care about you at all.
I wanted the song to have a sonic edginess about it to covey a tension in the question the song is asking.”
An alt-pop awakening that oozes originality, “Careful Now”… you may end up sticking this track on repeat and never turning it off – that doesn’t sound bad though, right?
The perfect taste and introduction into the musical project of Single Ruin, ‘Careful Now’ is spine-tinglingly golden.
