Enchanting singer-songwriter Sycco unleashes free spirited new single ‘Dribble’ via WILDER
Emerging Australian songstress Sycco, pronounced ‘psycho’, unveils striking new single ‘Dribble’. Making it her second single of the year, Sycco’s remarkable sound is growing into something quite spectacular. Sasha McLeod aka Sycco refuses to be left in the background with her inspiring vocal tone, and experimental songwriting ability.
On the track, Sycco shares, “This track was written in four hours. [Producer] Ed and I were tired and hungover, which maybe explains why it sounds a little dark. The guitar synth was added at the last minute but I can’t imagine the song without it now”.
Quickly establishing herself as a promising new asset to Australia’s ever-growing music scene, ‘Dribble’ fuses electro-pop with angelic indie sensibilities. Rolling off the tongue with it’s free falling lyrics, the track leans towards genres such as neo-soul while holding tightly to an electronic arrangement.
Complimented with mysterious visuals, the music video highlights Sycco through a number of different lens. Using an exotic colour palette, the video is a complete visionary. Directed by Madeline Randall and Summer King, the DIY aesthetic strings together a series of imaginative effects and shots.
‘Dribble’ is irresistible, and oozes with Charisma. If you believe in fate or not, we’re sure you’ll agree that Sycco is bound to have a successful career ahead of her.
