Indie-rock outfit The New Twenty’s unveil exhilarating music video for ‘You Got Me Good’
Indie rock outfit The New Twenty’s unleash hectic music video for new single, “You Got Me Good“. Over time, the band have gained support from the likes of Chris Hawkins at BBC 6 Music, Ollie Winiberg at BBC Intro Essex and XS Manchester.
Set in what looks like a living room, the vintage style visuals are fast-paced and showcase a youthful nature to the band.
Talking about the single, The New Twenty’s told us, “You Got Me Good’ is about when you fall for someone way too quick and create this whole hypothetical scenario in your head of ‘what ifs’ and ‘maybes’ and the sudden realisation that they have a hold on you…’You Got Me Good.”
A love story that we’ve all been in at some point in our lives, “You Got Me Good” is addictive and illustrates love’s sensations perfectly.
Highly energetic and coated in adrenaline, this indie-rock anthem sits over 2,500 streams on Spotify alone and has only been out since February 25th.
It shows that sometimes you don’t need a huge budget to make a killer video. All you need is a band that are fuelled with passion, a vintage-looking camera and a sensational message. If you watch the visuals, you can also see a cameo from Kurt Cobain, who I’m sure would have LOVED this band.
“You Got Me Good” is adventurous yet ready for mainstream exposure.
