Loughborough-based singer/songwriter Amber Beresford, best known as rainbow frog biscuits, has grown into a popular online personality and artist thanks to her affable personality and immersive brand of indie pop.

The latest single from the artist is ‘It’s All Fake Anyway’, a surreal but endearing release that sees the artist manage to trivialise her problems by convincing herself that nothing matters anyway, and that for all we know we could be part of a game of The Sims being played by aliens. It is the personality and charm of the artist and her voice that makes such an outlandish narrative feel so enamouring and charming, and all in all, the track does a great job of continuing to establish her unique personality and wonderful sound.

“I wrote ‘It’s All Fake Anyway’ after I realised that I cared way too much about my tiny mistakes, and that nothing we do in life really matters as much as we think, because for all we know, we could be living in a simulation anyway,” Amber says. “I think there’s something quite fun about that possibility, like we could all just be part of a video game that a little alien is sitting and playing somewhere.”
