Fast rising Newcastle based alternative rock band Ramellos started gaining word of mouth approval through support slots with Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and north east locals Camel Island and Pretty Velvet, and have kicked off 2025 with the release of their long-awaited debut single ‘Heedless Hearts’.

The track builds in a really thoughtful and atmospheric way, making for some really rousing and resonating moments leading to a soaring and frenetic finish. There is a real rawness and cutting edge charm that comes with a brand new band, the excitement that radiates from their work and the energy and buzz that comes with it, and this track channels that into something that feels explosive and memorable. The release of ‘Heedless Hearts’ is the perfect chance to familiarise yourselves with Ramellos and get in at the ground floor of what looks to be one of the UK’s most exciting emerging bands.

Ahead of the release, the band said “this is the most satisfied we’ve ever been with a piece of work, and next year we’ll be sharing it with everyone that’d like to hear it. We are planning our own headline show, plenty more support slots, and we hope to jump on a few festivals over summer, as well as shows around the country!”
