Renowned for the hard-edged and intense core of their sound and style, Los Angeles based alternative rock outfit Ramonda Hammer are a band who are consistently cooking up atmospheric and cathartic tracks that are packed full of dynamism and appeal, carving out a legacy in the LA underground scene as a transformative and exciting band.

Their latest single ‘The Panic’ is a track that seems to bottle up all of this intensity and palpable energy and unleash it in the form of a slow-burning and consuming track that gets under your skin as it builds and writhes before bursting to life. The track ebbs and flows, trading these bouts of emotion and energy with more reflective and calculating passages, making for this unpredictable and volatile journey that makes its close to six minute duration fly by.

“The Panic” is tough for me to put into words—not because I’m afraid of it (though I wouldn’t blame myself if I were), but because the lyrics really speak for themselves.” The band’s Devin Davis says. “This song has become one of my biggest lifelines, and I offer it up so it might be that for someone else. I just want people to listen, to feel the depth of the music and the story, and if they’ve ever known that kind of fear, I hope it makes them feel a little less alone.
