On their debut single ‘FEEL HELL (FEEL HELD)’, New York City alternative outfit Regular Degular do a great job of highlighting their unique appeal and the thoughtful, engrossing charm of their sound and style.
The track tackles the difficult subject of loving somebody that is struggling with drug addiction, feeling like you’re being dragged down with them and losing yourself in the process. There is a really free-flowing and expansive feel to the sound itself as it often veers off into different places as the band explore with their sound, making for some more raucous and more delicate moments as the track unfolds. The difficult subject matter and the raw personality and drive that pours through the sound makes for compelling listening throughout, immersive in its bittersweet storytelling and dynamic appeal.
