Their unique brand of brash alternative rock that borrows from genres like stoner rock, post-punk and hard rock has provided Stockholm’s Repeat with an engrossing and fuzz-laden sound and aesthetic that feels packed full of intensity and charm, underlining the trio’s potential as an emerging breakout force.

The latest single from the outfit comes in the form of ‘Reasons’, a driven and rousing track that continues to highlight everything that makes them feel special, melding melodic charm with a guitar-driven heaviness to craft a multi-faceted and engrossing sound that boasts a strong sense of identity and unique flavour. The new single is part of their excellent new album Rat Race, a collection of tracks released just over six months after their self-titled debut, but packing just as much of a punch and sense of dynamism as it predecessor.

“We prefer the short format with fuzzy guitars and stiff drums.” They say of their sound. “The album is very much a self-reflection and ‘Reasons’ stands out as being representative of the album, slightly more melodic, but still heavy, track with a strong verse and chorus.”
