The track immediately establishes the outfit’s uncompromising punk-edged sound.

On their debut single ‘BYOB’, emerging Birmingham outfit Resting B!tch Face do a wonderful job of establishing their unique brand of what they call “Queercore pop-punk”, an energetic and volatile sound that is packed full of scathing, politically charged lyrics and punk rock attitude.

Their debut single “BYOB” takes aim at the Conservative party (formerly) led by Boris Johnson, and their smug, calavier attitude towards breaking lockdown rules and double standards. The track holds nothing back in its assessment of the government and the figures that have held prominent positions within it, with the outfit utilising their impactful sound and acerbic lyrics to make a stand and make a really immersive and engaging, catchy track in the process.
