The track is the first single from a forthcoming four-track EP from the artist
Offering a stylish bridge between vintage 60s surf rock and more modern, grungy tones, RIOT SON‘s latest single ‘Another Chance’ is a track that continues to highlight the emerging artist’s ambitious and creative appeal, complete with an upbeat and atmospheric edge that feel engrossing throughout.
Tonally, the track tows the line between vulnerabilitity and defiance, exploring the feelings that come with reaching a crossroads in your relationship and recognising that the best thing to do would be to let go completely. There is a bittersweet feel to the track as a result and one that bleeds through the production and RIOT SON’s emotionally charged vocals, usilising a lo-fi aesthetic to really hammer home the sense of rawness that cuts through the track.
