In news that is shocking to absolutely nobody, the latest ROE single ‘Cold Feet’ is a vulnerable and captivating journey that continues to encapsulate what a special and unique talent the Irish artist truly is.

The track confessional and introspective, exploring the artist’s fears and doubts in herself amid a gorgeous wave of indie piano pop balladry. ROE bares her soul on the track, as she so often does, but there seems to be an especially potent layer of poignancy and earnesty to her words as she cathartically lays out her struggles with imposter syndrome and the toll that it can take on her. If you have been reading CLOUT for any real amount of time, you will know about the sensationally high regard that we hold the artist in, and the way that she can speak so truthfully and beautifully about her mental health and psyche asserts a really powerful message about how even those who look like they are thriving and achieving can battle with these thoughts and feelings. A wonderful and necessary track that hopefully does as much for the artist as it does for those that will hear it.

“I wrote Cold Feet about my imposter syndrome.” ROE says of the track. “Regularly I feel like a stranger in my own body and start to doubt my own actions. It’s difficult to feel like you’re worth something when there’s a voice in the back of your mind saying that you don’t really belong here. It’s also something I struggle talking about with anyone, so I guess this song is my way around that. Every time I play it on stage the fear gets a little smaller.”
