UK singer-songwriter Roisin O’Hagan has more than a little American influence in her Americana influenced country-pop sound, and this makes for a really unique dynamic crafting this kinds of sounds as a British artist, and provides her with a unique perspective and approach to the sound.

Her latest single ‘Wild & Free’ is exactly what the title suggests, a fun loving, anthemic and melodic track that explores a new romance with a complete lack of inhibitions, possessing a carefree and authentic spirit throughout. Roisin’s travels in America have provided her with all of the hallmarks of a vintage, instantly memorable, country-tinged sound, and with each and every release the artist seems to grow into herself a little more, and command the space that she operates in.

“I wrote ‘Wild & Free’ with the aim of capturing the feelings and fears that come in the early stages of newfound romance, and the moment that you ultimately make the decision to dive into the deep end.” Roisin says of the track. “When you find yourself in the wake of something new, but others have opinions on it, you have to make a choice; to let other people’s outside noise hold you back from something that could be amazing, or to put yourself first and go for it.”
