Allegiances aside, latest Sad Boys Club ‘White Hart Lane’ and its video manage to invoke feelings of nostalgia and longing for the beautiful game of football. While obviously being centered around Tottenham, it isn’t hard to find yourself replacing fragments of the video with your own memories, dreams and highlights, such is the mastery of the video, created by notorious football installation artist Ciaran Wood.

The magic of the release isn’t restricted to football though, just anything that you feel intensely passionately about and have these rose-tinted feelings towards. Given the state of the world and the way that we have had things like football and a range of other parts of our lives that we have loved taken away from us in a live capacity not too long ago, the track is a welcome, uplifting ode to the good times, set to a backdrop of the engrossing, effortless indie rock that Sad Boys Club deliver on such a consistent basis.
