With the artist’s upcoming new album A Sound In The Dark set for release on September 29th, stirring neo-soul artist Sandra Bouza has released a second single from the LP in the form of her stunning new single ‘Good Vibrations’.

The track radiates smoothness and good vibes throughout, from the nuanced and powerful nature of the artist’s vocals to bluesy, soulful nature of its instrumental. Thematically, the track explores looking to get back on track and find yourself following a breakup, and the sultry and slick nature of the sound embodies this idea perfectly, feeling engaging and rousing with an empowering edge throughout. All in all the track serves as something of an anthem for letting go and allowing yourself to thrive again, and whether from the gorgeous tone of the sound or through the emotional resonance of the lyrics, there is a lot to resonate with and find catharsis within.

“This song was me trying to sum up all of those confusing feelings after a relationship ends,” says Sandra. “This relationship was also my first experience of being in love, so there was a lot of confusion swirling around, and questioning of decisions. Sometimes you want to bypass the questions to end all the emotional pain, and just go back to your comfort zone, even if it wasn’t that comfortable.”
