Coming off swathes of critical acclaim and adoration in 2023, Sea Girls have kicked off the new year in style with the release of the powerful and immediately classic new single ‘I Want You To Know Me’.
The track serves almost as a sequel to 2020 single ‘All I Want To Hear You Say’, with frontman Henry Camamile addressing the same person and letting them know that they’re a more ambitious and accomplished version of themself now. Stylistically, the track is a euphoric piece of indie pop gold, packed full of life and charm and that inherent Sea Girls DNA that has brought the band so much acclaim. The sky has always been the limit for Sea Girls, but that ceiling seems to get higher and higher with each new release. Their forthcoming third LP Midnight Butterflies looks set to be their most focussed and complete collection of tracks to date.
