It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of Sfven here at CLOUT, and his unique sound that somehow manages to simultaneously feel intimate, creative and melodic at all times, highlight a unique deftness from the artist for everything from his songwriting, to his production, to his performing.

The latest release from the artist continues to live up to high praise that we keep giving him, with ‘Come Over’ serving as a short but heartfelt ode to his friends and the way that they all rally around each other and support each other when they need it. The more stripped-back nature of the instrumentation makes for a track that hones in on the sense of intimacy the artist possesses, and draws the emotion out of his almost conversational lyrics and delivery, genuinely making for a listening experience that feels reassuring and rousing as a listener. Sfven covers a lot of ground with his themes and his sound, but this track showcases how his more sombre and emotional moments can hit you right in the chest in the nicest way possible.

“I wrote ‘come over’ after realising that myself and my friends collectively weren’t in great places.” Sfven says of the track. “It’s a song about celebrating friendship and also as reassurance for always having an open door for anyone who needs it.”
