Atlanta multi-instrumentalist Silent Child has teamed up with the CLOUT championed margø to release ‘Strange’. A multi-faceted monster of a track that showcases the talents of both.

Boasting mammoth vocal performances from each that collide towards the end in a way that feels monumental, the track celebrates being different by way of showcasing the exceptional talents of both artists. When this isn’t happening, the track gives way for seismic grandson-esque instrumentals that provide the track with a memorable and satisfying hook. As evidenced on ‘Strange’, the best way to celebrate our differences and what makes us unique is to use these things to craft a sound that feels thoroughly exciting and new.

Silent Child says, “This song means a lot to me personally. It’s about being different from other people and those close to you trying to change you. But, honestly, it’s okay to be different. Sometimes our differences might seem strange to other people, but just because we aren’t the same doesn’t mean we have to be.”

Accompanying Cooke is Canada-based, margø. She says, “I loved the dark vibe of the song and really connected with the theme of accepting and loving the things that make you different – so I intertwined that idea with the concept of self-love. Sometimes society leads us to believe that in order to feel love, we need to receive that love from another person – whereas, I wanted my part in the song to convey the idea that it’s more than okay to be alone, and that we can definitely find that feeling of being complete within ourselves.”
