Vancouver indie rock outfit Slightest Clue have been doing a great job of establishing their distinctive sound over the last few years, with their range of influences and tastes in music making for a sound that feels entirely their own.

On their new single ‘Just Fine’, the band have switched things up a bit and provided something a little different, with bassist Hannah Kruse fronting the track and injecting her indelible charisma and immersive vocals into proceedings. Amidst all of the engaging hooks and timeless alternative rock charm of the track, Hannah tells a tale of secrets, confessions and spilling what has usually been unsaid. ‘Just Fine’ is a triumph for the outfit, a stylistic gamble that has already proven to be their most popular release to date, with Hannah Kruse’s vocals proving to be a stellar match for their emphatic mix of melody and drive.
