Latest release ‘The Actobat’ sees the outfit continue to establish their effortlessly cool sound, with jangly riffs meeting lush synths and domineering vocals, making for a package that feels like both indebted to acts like Josef K and Talking Heads but distinctly entrenched in the modern era. Soup! are just four tracks into their journey but have firmly placed their flag down as an act that have the potential to rise above the sea of emerging post-punk hopefuls.
