The track is the first release in two years from the project.
Boasting a unique and creative sound that they call “garage folk”, UK outfit Sourced., a collaboration with songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Fred Claridge at its heart, have spent the last few years slowly building up a collection of tracks that showcase the nuance and appeal of their sound.
The latest release from the project is new single ‘starting’, a thoughtful track that is packed full of catharsis and emotion, and these are echoed through the different shifts and changes in mood that the track takes along the way. At its core the track is a love song, as it explores searching for it among all of the trials and tribulations of life, COVID and lockdowns included. This makes for a catchy track that is full of a variety of ideas that appeal in a number of different ways, packed full of both style and substance in equal measure and highlighting the charm and personality of the project.
