Following the success of their debut EP 513, Leeds indie rock band Swim Wear are back with their new single ‘Swimwear’, a track that looks to usher in a new era that celebrates a cleaner and more modern sound going forward into the future.

The track has a really thoughtful feel to it throughout, with the vocals and instrumentation showcasing a level of restraint and poise that allows the nuances of the sound to shine through. There is still a rawness to their sound however, making for a feel and style that feels authentic and real throughout, creating an engrossing bridge between the more polished and immaculate sounds of modern indie pop and indie rock that is rooted more in personality and working class charm. All in all, the track is a glowing showcase of what the band are capable of in this new era, with their sound feeling engrossing and melodic throughout and packing an engaging bite in spite of its softer aesthetic.
