The artist takes issue with some hateful opinions spewed out in parliament on his latest release
The political situation in the UK right now is one that rightly has a lot of people feeling disillusioned and outraged, mostly thanks to the contempt and disregard for the less privileged and vulnerable from the conservative party and their sickeningly smug demeanour.

The artist’s horror and shock at the PM’s comments does a great job of giving the track a sense of gravity, melding hard-hitting lyrics with affable melodies and a forward-thinking, modern charm that continues to showcase his versatility and appeal as an artist. ‘Rethink’ is a track that feels vital in the current climate, holding these people to account in rousing fashion.
“I’d been in a bit of a rut, and hadn’t been writing anything I was feeling particularly connected with.” Teddy says of the track. “But as soon as I saw/heard the transphobic comments Rishi Sunak was making I instantly felt compelled to write, and the song kind of wrote itself pretty quickly.”
