Providing a modern voice to anti-establishment artists of the past, latest Teleforme single ‘Tired’ is something of a rallying cry. A commentary of current times; doused in dismay at political ineptitude and greed.

The track builds in a deliberate and poised manner, with their consuming sound packing just a hint of darkness as the outfit come to terms with the exhaustion and hopelessness of living under a government that seemingly can do whatever they please. The refrain of “We’re so tired”, repeated over and over is something that is widely relatable across the UK, as we feel so disengaged and defeated by a political system that seems stacked against us, allowing charlatans and the so-called “elite” to dictate our lives and watching them consistently held to a different standard to everyone else. Musically, the track has some really nice moments, with the subdued nature of the sound echoing this sense of defeat and helplessness, and the thoughtful nature of the lyrics providing a captivating, if all too real listening experience. We’re so, so, so tired.
