Having firmly established themselves on 2020 debut LP Daydream as a rousing pop-country outfit with a fun, unique sound, The Buckleys continue to showcase their distinctive style and impossible charm on their new release ‘Oops I Love You’.

The track is the trio’s latest example of their charming sound and charisma, as it fizzes with an insatiable, feel-good bounce and sense of adventure. There is a really affable atmosphere that feels irresistible throughout, with lush melodies and the outfit’s aforementioned sense of fun proving contagious. ‘Oops I Love You’ is a really engrossing, uptempo piece of breezy, warm pop, and with their new EP Take It As It Comes due for release in August, we could be set for something special once again from the trio.

“Interestingly, this song actually started out on bass,” says vocalist Sarah Buckley, oldest sibling to the Buckley family trio which includes Lachlan (guitars) and Molly (keyboards). “I was jamming with our youngest brother Dylan (15 yo) on drums just for fun and I started playing this bassline which you hear in the song. We kept jamming and when I brought it to Lachlan and Molly as just a bass and drum groove, they loved the direction, so we all started playing around with some ideas and the melodies started to take form.”
