The definition of the word sardonic is “grimly mocking or cynical.”, and that may as well also be the definition of  The Byker Grove Fan Club. The outfit, and their distinctive brand of what is dubbed post macho noise pop, pull absolutely no punches in their seething take downs on varying aspects of modern life and people.

On their latest release ‘Accountant’ the outfit continue to showcase their uniquely invasive energy and intensity and the sheer bile and malice that intoxicates their sound. From its furious, muscular rhythms to its angular riffs, to its frenetic and frenzied vocals, the trio are onto something truly special with this sound, with every release feeling more audacious and chaotic than the last.
