On their latest single ‘Now I Found You’, lauded Oxford indie pop outfit The Mezz have dove headfirst into a nostalgic synth-wave sound that captures the aura and creativity of the era while continuing to pack their trademark modern edge.

The track has an easy-going and lush tone to it throughout, with shimmering, instantly catchy choruses punctuating a sound that has euphoria pouring from every facet of it. A stunning narrative about love and its transformative impact pairs with the track’s aesthetic perfectly, making for a track that feels engrossing and exciting from the get go and never lets up throughout its duration. The third single from their upcoming sophomore EP showcases a band that have a tonne left to offer and enthral us with.

Speaking about their latest offering, they said, “For the third single we really wanted to push our sound as a band. It’s the first time we have leaned heavily on synth wave/80s pop inspired music. In terms of the lyrics, after releasing two singles about self-worth and online personas I wanted this song to be very cut and dry. A very clear and simple view on love. Finding someone that brings you back to life and makes you feel free from all the world’s problems. It’s a very epic celebratory anthem that I hope many people can relate to!”
