The track is the fifth release of the year for the emerging artist.

Micah Erenberg and his new project The Secret Beach have been raising in prominence as of late thanks to the artist’s thoughtful, unique songwriting and wonderfully poignant sound. There is a refreshing earnesty and plainspoken nature that permeates the work, giving it a real sense of personality and life that feels quite unlike anything else, and making for some rousing insights and concepts that come from Micah’s unique lens.

The latest release from the artist is ‘God Is’, a track that is the artist’s interpretation of a poem called Brand New Ancients by Kae Tempest. The track and poem describe God as someone doing mundane everyday things, and even some that are quite unsavoury, giving him a real human element, and bringing him to life in a way that many would have never even considered. The point being that God can be all manner of things depending on the perspective of the person picturing him. The track isn’t trying to dictate to you what God is, but rather explore the idea that God could be anything, and there is no right or wrong answer, hoping to connect people through the factors that they agree on, rather than what they don’t.
