With influences that range from alternative rock to folk, Tyler Elden is an emerging artist who spent 2022 establishing his unique sound with four releases that highlight his prowess and creativity with monthly releases towards the end of the year.
The latest of these is his latest single ‘Our Good Name’, a track that features Katie of the Philadelphia based Indie rock collective The Lunar Year. Narratively, the track tackles the plight of a family ostracised from their community and cast out, with his thoughtful songwriting and the impassioned vocals of Tyler and Katie making for a track that feels rousing and emotionally charged. ‘Our Good Name’ is a really encouraging release from an artist who really seems to be coming into his own, and it feels like these initial releases are only gradually uncovering the potential and creativity that Tyler Elden possesses.
