Over the last few years, emerging artist Warahenege has quietly been establishing his thoughtful, DIY sound, with an array of releases that the artist has been writing and performing in his Manchester bedroom.

The latest release from the artist is ‘Blue Atoms’, a dreamy, shoegazy release that speaks to the loneliness that we can often face in modern life, and the way that a chance encounter with someone new can alleviate them. There is an almost euphoric quality to the sound as it progresses, with its lush, atmospheric tendencies making for a listening experience that feels almost transcendent at times. The track shifts gradually from anger and self-loathing into something of hope, and the composition mirrors these thoughts and feelings in a wonderful, rousing fashion.
