The duo continue showcase their unique charisma and colourful sound.

While at first glance, latest Wotts single ‘LEMONADE’ may feel like a carefree, colourful bedroom pop bop, in reality, the track is a much sturdier tale of hard times and perseverance, and takes on a rousing and even empowering feel the further that you dive into it.

The message of the track is essentially that things can be bleak and hard, but the things that are worth fighting for are really worth digging in and fighting for. From the eclectic sounds that permeate the track to the impassioned vocals and forthright lyrics, ‘LEMONADE’ is a track that highlights the distinctive, affable charisma that Wotts possess as a duo, with a track that can either be an upbeat summery anthem or a inspirational, uplifting tale of strength, depending on how deep you want to delve into the themes and the lyrics.

Produced by Jayem (the band’s vocalist & multi-instrumentalist), “LEMONADE” focuses on the tough times people face in a relationship, and the perseverance that’s sometimes needed to get through it. According to him, “It can be easy to leave a relationship if you hit a rough patch, especially if you have a tendency to build up walls to protect yourself. You can meet an amazing person and have some bad days, so this song is a reminder that it can be worth it to dig deep, battle the insecurities and take a leap of faith”.
