The track is the first single from their freshly announced upcoming LP Pop Couture
Along with the announcement of their long-awaited, self-produced debut album Pop Couture comes latest Youth Sector single ‘God’s Work’, a track that sees them eschewing some of their usual frantic and chaotic energy for a more laid-back, almost hip-hop inspired sound that feels both inspired and easy to find yourself immersed in.
It still wouldn’t be Youth Sector without the usual dose of off-kilter weirdness though, and the range of sonic quirks and fun, creative moments keep things feeling suitably energetic and dynamic in spite of this more restrained tempo, before eventually threatening to spill over and derail everything as the track progresses. Youth Sector and their sound are such a breath of life and fresh air, and as the new track narratively serves as a moment of relief and satisfaction following a job well done, we can’t think of many bands that deserve that feeling more.
