On her immersive and captivating new video ‘Be Free’, gripping indie-folk artist Zelma Stone delves into some personal and painful places, exploring grief and the loss of some of her loved ones to try to find a semblance of acceptance in the hopes that they have been freed following their untimely passing.

The track in particular focusses on the artist’s brother Brett and her close friend Jenny, with the artist channelling how much they are missed and how she feels about them to craft a sound that feels impactful and powerful from the moment that it begins. The therapeutic track and video see the artist emerging from the dark into the light, both literally and spiritually, and she looks to find some kind of closure and pay tribute to them in the form of the song.
