Musicians Without Borders looking for verses for collaborative song through Syncr

The fundraising single is nearly complete!

International charity Musicians Without Borders Music has been working with musician opportunities platform Syncr Music to ‘build a song’.

So far they’ve put a call out for an instrumental base for the song (which was provided by Robbie J Stone) and a chorus (Which Yassi V was successful with). Now they’re looking for the verses to complete the product, which will raise money for their cause and promote awareness of their work.

Musicians can sign up and apply for this brief for free here but are asked to also donate to their cause. Successful artists will each receive 10% of the track royalties and a years free Syncr Pro account (usually £4.99) a month.

“The lyrical content of both verses should be positive and work well with the chorus, something that can share the message: war divides, music connects as well as the idea of creating spaces of safety and belonging or using the power of music for social change and peacebuilding.”

The deadline for submitting your demo verses is May 25th, so get recording!

Musicians Without Borders uses the power of music to connect communities, bridge divides, and heal the wounds of war and conflict. Find out more about their work here and donate here.
