Alt-pop band My Life as Ali Thomas start off 2021 the right way with new single ‘RINN’
Thai alt-pop outfit My Life as Ali Thomas return with the phenomenal release ‘Rinn‘. An elevating release that instantly grabs your gaze and shifts it to their full discograpy, ‘Rinn’ fuses powerful guitar lines with an energetic drum beat.
Talking about “Rinn”, My Life as Ali Thomas explained: “The title ‘Rinn’ has no story, no meaning. It is something we made up inspired by the song. We were asked once: why call it something that has no meaning, that isn’t even a word? This made things clear to us.
There are so many restrictions – many of which we create for ourselves – in this world we’ve created, that at times it seems absurd. ‘Rinn’ is a challenge to these restrictions; an anthem encouraging you to set your mind free, so that you can truly meet yourself”.
A track that showcases frontwoman ‘Pie Kanyapak Wuttara’s dynamic vocals, the thunderous track refuses to be left on the shelf.
A powerful sound for a trio, this song states that it doesn’t matter how many musicians are in a band, when you have true musicianship, it doesn’t matter.
Crossing through indie-pop and an alternative rock nature, the emotive vocal performance from Pie is addictive and draws you in further with each listen.
Destined to be stuck on repeat on your playlist from this day forward, ‘Rinn’ is an explosive return from My Life as Ali Thomas, and showcases 2021 is set to be their biggest year to date.
