Tessa says that the track is“about my best friend who moved away when we were 14. I never fully realized how bad it hurt to have that friendship change until I wrote this song. We’re still best friends but I’ve had to witness so much of her journey on the internet or hear about it on the phone. This song honors us the way we were back then when life was a little simpler.”
