No need to ‘Keep Searching’ for the banger of the day, Dark Tropics have just dropped it!
Ireland based duo Dark Tropics unveil their soulful third single ‘Keep Searching‘. Out today, this passionate offering explores a retro sound while still walking upon unfamiliar ground.
Showcasing their incredible songwriting ability and ethereal vocal skills, the new single feels like a sort of mantra that you wouldn’t mind repeating.
Dark Tropics tell us that, “Keep Searching was inspired by the vibrancy and romance of 60’s American soul music. It’s about not wanting to be left behind and having the strength and resolve to chase a dream no matter what.
The video tells the story of a really troubled relationship. One where your identity is stripped and you need to search for the person you once were. It was directed by Thomas McKeown who used light and shade as a tool to further emphasise the emotion in the dancing and movement.”
Having received praise from CLASH, Billboard, Hot Press and BBC Radio 1 to name a few, Dark Tropics are simply stating they’re bound to be stars.
“Keep Searching” feels like a timeless number that comes across as an instant classic.
Visually, the music video sees vocalist Rio dance through a hazy flat and comes across as truly enchanting.
Cinematic not only musically but visually too, ‘Keep Searching’ ticks all the boxes.
