Speaking about the leading single, Franki shares, “In the song I try to touch on the anxiety around seeing an ex-love again and the desperation of wanting to have achieved personal growth since losing the relationship.
The E.P as a whole details my experiences with the cycle of falling in and out of love and this part of the cycle I found is always a huge weight and can be so mentally draining. To feel like you have to have something to show for your progression and something to prove to someone who’s no longer a part of your life”
