The latest addition to their arsenal is ‘Angles’ a track that melds insatiable, colourful indie pop charm with the raw honesty and earnesty of the outfit’s lyrics, providing a cute contrast between the light-hearted nature of the sound and the more grounded, often foul-mouthed lyrics (there is a clean version of the track, if you’re that way inclined). Narratively, the track follows the all-too-real rush of someone daring to make the first move with a romantic interest, the confidence and swagger of Wild Horse’s sound marries this narrative perfectly, and makes for yet another seamlessly engaging home run for an outfit who have been rapidly building up a head of steam as of late.
