On her ambitious debut EP The Game, German singer-songwriter Lucie Glang has looked to make her work as wide ranging as possible, using only International collaborations and recorded the tracks themselves in Iceland, Scotland Denmark and Los Angeles to make for a wonderfully varied mix of influences and sources of creativity.

The title track ‘The Game’, was created in collaboration with Icelandic producer Arnar Gudjonsson, and sees the indie-folk artist examining the odd ways that people can often treat each other. The artist’s upbeat disposition and the charming appeal of her sound ensures that things feel light and breezy in spite of this more bittersweet narrative, and it is this rousing allure that anchors the tracks and gives them a recognisable DNA and sense of oneness despite some of them being worlds apart geographically.
