A modern hip-hop artist who’s sound is characterised by his ambitious sense of scope and his sharp sense of focus on his sound and style, DaLomonze is somebody who’s authenticity and clarity of vision permeates everything that he does, and his new project, an eight-track EP where each come with an accompanying video, does a great job of articulating that.
The first taste of the project comes in the form of ‘Picture Day’, a track that doubles as its title track and opener. The track sees the artist laying his vulnerabilities bare in confessional and heartfelt fashion, utilising his vocal range and the nuance in his lyrics to express his feelings of love, unabashedly and unapologetically, in a way that many others could take cues from and spread a similar message.
