Boasting a hard-hitting and resonating alternative rock sound that is both informed by nostalgia and past sounds while packing a fierce, modern edge, Rob Jarvis-led Essex trio Mad Morning have been steadily establishing themselves as an exciting rising force in modern music, and look set to cement that status with the release of their upcoming self-titled debut album.

The latest release from the project is the new single ‘Four Walls’, a track that was actually conceived for a previous project but has been given a new lease of life, reborn as something larger and more impactful. Narratively, the track packs just as much of a punch as it does sonically, written as an empathetic message to a friend who has been going through hard times, and it has a really uplifting and resonating edge to it that cut through its alternative rock edge and makes for a defiant message of hope and solidarity.

“The recording process was a little rushed, and I didn’t get to portray this instrumentation how I really wanted,” Jarvis says of the track’s past life in his previous project. “The song was too formatted; I wanted it to be grand and fearless.”
