Who TF is Lauren Presley?
On an artist level, I’d say I’m an alt-rock artist with vulnerable lyrics and big hard-hitting choruses. Off stage, I’m someone who moved from Texas to Nashville to pursue my dreams, has a huge passion for animal rescue, loves traveling and iced coffee, and loves really hard.
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been singing since I was basically old enough to talk, it was instinctual. I started writing songs as a teenager and fell in love with that too.
Why do you make music?
I have to make music to get all my inside thoughts and feelings out or else I feel like i might implode. And I just simply love it so much. The feeling of writing a song and tracking the demo and then sitting and listening to something I just made, and really feeling proud of it, is really an indescribable feeling. It makes me think too like if I connect with it this much, I know other people will too. When my music really connects with people & they tell me how much its helped them, its the cherry on top for me, theres just nothing better.
What are your biggest influences?
I would say Halsey and Maggie Lindemann really shaped my artistry early on but the last year or two, i’ve been really influenced by Kami Kehoe, Jutes, and Wesghost.

What would you say has been your best moment so far?
Probably just seeing how people relate to some of my songs and the impact it’s had on them, and also signing my first deal.
How would you describe your sound to somebody unfamiliar with it?
It’s honest and vulnerable and real. Musically i’d say it’s a mesh of Maggie Lindemann, Halsey, Kami Kehoe, and Jutes. Alt-rock, sometimes with some pop influence in there.
What’s your dream “I’ve made it” moment?
When i can sell out a world tour!
We love your new single ‘Sirens’, what more can you tell us about it?
Thank you! I wrote “Sirens” about feeling burnt out by constant scrolling, and the pressure to always be on social media (and posting) in order to ‘keep up’. The world usually feels like one big ad, always trying to sell something to us. And I think it has a lot to do with how overstimulated and anxious and mentally fatigued we are but it doesn’t stop because money is being made from it.
What else do you have planned for the near future?
I’m going to LA in a couple months to write a lot of songs and work with some people i’m a big fan of! I’m stacking up some songs for a potential album, and hopefully going on tour!
And finally, who is your biggest fan right now?
I honestly can’t pick just one. I’m so lucky to have people who have stuck with me & believed in me for years and that means everything to me. Whether it’s people on my socials who i’ve never met, or my people in my inner circle, I really do appreciate every single one of them.
