The track follows her excellent recent single ‘Revenge Body’
An atmospheric and alluring new release that showcases the most delicate and moving side of the artist’s sound, Samantha Margret‘s latest single ‘Mercury’ is a track that sees the artist exploring the journeys that we go on to become ourselves and who we are, and the way that the path never really has any kind of start or end, instead happening throughout our lives as we change and grow.
There are some really thoughtful aspects to the track and the masterfully intricate way that it is put together, surmising that this path is never linear or straight-forward, sometimes having to unlock more questions before we can get the answers that we are looking for as we endlessly shift and grow throughout our lives. It is a track that evokes some real moments of introspection in you as a listener, with Samantha’s memorable vocal performance and the flowing nature of the sound doing a great job of mirroring this journey and the ebbs and flows that come with it.
