Anchored by a stomping beat, ‘Begging’ is enriched with bold, throbbing synths and a shamelessly catchy melody. Overlaid with Kena’s falsetto vocal, it’s a number that wouldn’t go amiss were it instead attached to Nick Jonas.
Kena goes into a bit more detail about the avant-garde visuals for the track; “The video really captures the emotion of the song, strength and honesty, with dancers personifying parts of myself, showing that inner conflict, the ocean really representing the powerful and swelling depths of emotion.”
