Exciting pop duo joan return with the retro pop of new single ‘love me better’. Recently signing to Photo Finish Records, the track marks the start of a new era for the Arkansas pair.
Following last year’s slew of singles including ‘ease your mind’, 2020 has already seen the band perform their first headline tour to sellout crowds. Channelling an early 90s pop sound, ‘love me better’ dials up joan’s catchy sentimentalities by taking sonic inspiration from the boybands of that era.
Not dissimilar to current throwback gang PRETTYMUCH and Lany, ‘love me better’ brings bouncy beats and springy synths for a warm reminisce of a simpler time.
