A track that is packed with a sense of moving relatability and authenticity that feels both cathartic and uplifting, latest Aly Navarro single ‘If I Were a Man’ sees the artist taking a look at the person that she has become since falling out of a relationship with the wrong partner and dealing with the fallout of that.
The track really hones in on the feeling of becoming somebody else in a relationship, and having to reclaim who you are on the other side. Aly playfully takes aim at the situation and channels all of the anger, lost time, and emotional distance into a track that is about taking your power back and really celebrating who you are, and it makes for a listening experience that hits home for anybody who has been in a similar situation finding their footing again.
